Beautiful weather, enjoyment via bicycle!!

Spring Is Showing Her Face

The weather here in eastern Kentucky today was amazing!! Felt like I was at the beach. It was hard to focus in class I tell ya. Went on a nice little micro adventure via bicycle, and stumbled upon the Ky. river. Found a dead dog in the ditch that looked real gnarly. Shortly after I hopped up into a boat and felt like a pirate, to bad it was on barrels and on dry land haha.

Went caving this past weekend.....craziness I tell ya!! The darkest place I've ever been in my life thats for sure. It was great!! There were water falls,bats,drop offs that would kill,and crawls that put army crawls to shame. Hands down it was worth $60. Plus its illegal so you know it's rad!! Just bummed I couldn't capture the moment via my camera. Need a gnarly waterproof/shockproof cam. Next year!!

Numb Toes

Cruised down to High Bridge today after class. High Bridge was the first cantilever bridge in its class. It stands 308ft. over a navigable stream. My photos are taken via IPhone, so not really sure if you can see the river that well, but where the rivers meet the colors were gnarly. Guess its the clay mixing or may be the paper mill up stream?? The pedal from campus was like 5 or so miles, up and down some pretty rolling hills. Open land with cattle and horses grazing. When I got down to the river my big toes were becoming numb haha. Could only imagine the feeling of frost bite. Stay warm San Diego!!
