WoodFord Reserve Distillery

What a fun Friday afternoon with my Momma, KK & step father, Papa Chuck. The drive to Woodford consisted of breath taking beauty, both from God and man. The well kept horse farms and buildings were very impressive and the healthy horses and the casual grazing deer before the storm made us smile. Thankful for Gods creation, family, friends, life, and good times shared!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Back from hiatus

Howdy y'all!! I have been on hiatus from TheRippinGypsy blog, but am happy to say, I am alive and well!! The past few years have looked like this: Waco, Tx. for a 13 month livestock internship at World Hunger Relief Inc. Following a year in Hillsboro, Tx. at Cobb Creek Farm as a field manager raising pasture poultry. Moved back to Wilmore, Ky. thanksgiving time 2016. Currently working at Rocky Top Log Furniture company in Lancaster, Ky. My pup Baja is well too and loving life. Life has been busy and fruitful with ups and downs. The adventure of life I have learned is just that, an adventure, and I encourage you along with myself to enjoy each and everyday that we are blessed with, to love yourself and those around you well!!

Albania Spring Break Trip

God blessed me with the opportunity to lead a group of friends from school (Asbury University) to Albania. We stayed with missionary friends (The Waggoner's) in the village of Vlashaj outside the capital city of Tirana. It was an amazing 10 days in the beautiful country of Albania and I am just so thankful how God worked in our lives along with the people we met!! All glory be to God!!

Praying Hands

Carlos is a man with a moving testimony from Columbia. He came to Asbury University last year, shared his testimony in chapel and carved these praying hands for us and they have been on display since. I am thankful for Carlos' life and his relationship with the Lord. I look forward to seeing this man in the future!!
