Christmas In Florida

You gotta love Florida in December!! Brooks taken a few cast with the fly rod.

Hung out with some friends at the local watering hole this past weekend. Good people and some great weather made for some good times!!

How To Make Shepards Pie

2lbs ground beef
2 bags of Idahoan mashed potatoes
1 onion
1 can of corn
1 can of peas
Bag of cheese

Now what ya do is...
Cook the meat with diced onions first. While your rippin that together, go ahead and get your mashed potatoes steady. When the meat is cooked, dump the veggies in & mix. Now it's time to bake. Grab a deep dish... Meat goes on the bottom, mash on top of the meat, and to top it off, the cheese. Let it bake for a beer or so at 350. Then grab that sucker outta the oven and shred!!

Cigar Talk With Blake Toole

I have smoked a good number of cigar's with my brother's, but probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for Blake introducing us to em. I'm thankful he did. Here's a conversation with him over a few smokes. Hope you enjoy!!

-GypsyRipper: When did you start smoking?
-BlakeToole: Fifteen. My dad smoked pipes and I wanted to do something a bit different and gave cigars a try. Ive been enjoying em ever since.
-GypsyRipper: What do you look for in a smoke when purchasing one?
-BlakeToole: I like a stronger tasting cigar, called maduro, its the darker leaf tobacco. I feel it brings out more flavor in the smoke.
-GypsyRipper: How much do they run in cost?
-BlakeToole: They've gone up in price with the new administration, but you can pick one up between, $4-$8.
-GypsyRipper: Tell me about this months "Cigar Aficionado" magazine?
-BlakeToole: Well this past father's day we were all up here at Corona Cigar Bar, and we got a group photo taken of us. Well I went back home to Birmingham and figured what the heck, Im gunna send the photo to Cigar Aficionado and see if they'll run it. Months go by and I forgot about it. Well two weeks ago I got the new issue and you and I were having a smoke at my house and BAM, there we are hahaha.
-GypsyRipper: Why do you smoke Cigars?
-BlakeToole: With today's society everyone's on the go, hustle and bustle. I feel the cigar forces you to sit down, relax and take it all in; and to enjoy the smoke with family and friends!!

Well there you have it. Were in route to Orlando!! Sunshine and fun... Can't wait!!

Falling Water's

There's not a beautiful house built at this fall like the infamous one outside of Pittsburgh, but I'm stoked we have falls in Florida!!

Sun Shine State

My brother Blake and I ripped down to Tallahassee Florida for a Florida State football game this past weekend. Stayed with Blake's good pal Craig. Thanks to Craig for a place to crash and his foke's for some great food!! It was also a treat meeting up with Rory and Jenna!! Thanks to them I had a ticket for the game, and a game it was. FSU beat Clemson. Great weather and good friends... Sweetness!!

This is one cool music shop. Old and new ripper's, it had a lot of character inside. The fella who own's it is real chill and friendly. Wanted to snap some shot's inside, but I wussed out hahaha. Believe it or not, just a few block's up the road is another music shop that's up to par with this one. Lucky neighborhood I'd say!!

Mountain BMX??

Here's a few from a sweet overlook down the road from my brother's house. What your overlooking is a valley and just past the ridge is downtown Birmingham. Pretty stuff!!

It was a treat to take in the beautiful sunset here in bama country this evening!!
Back home in Florida,(aka the sunshine state for those of y'all that didn't know) Brooks thought the same, but put the icing on the cake with this large mouth bass. Good stuff!! Couldn't figure how to rotate the image. Haha. Have fun!!

Big Old School Bell

Cruised around the Birmingham area and stumbled upon a pretty cool bike shop. The place was chill and had some high end stuff...if that's what your looking for that is. I was stoked on this new bell. Marked down to $2.99, I was more than happy to walk out of the shop knowing it was going to end up on my handle bars!! Good find.
