Went on a bicycle ride with the cycling club today. Bombed down some back country roads which brought some steep climbs but all in all, it was a blast. First time on a bike since I've been here, so I'm pumped!!

Pretty Day

Things that come to mind when I think of winter is, snow, gray skies, cooped up inside... and the list goes on. In between this bitter cold, if you'll lucky, there will be a few days when the skies open and the sun brings a smile to your face. Today was such a day. I woke to 50 degree weather and the sun just ah blazin. I was stoked!! My friend Kendall had a photo assignment and asked if I would like to tag along. Couldn't say no, and am happy I went. Hope you enjoy!!

Snow, snow, and more snow. Got about five or so inches today and I am stoked!! Feel like a little kid. Gotta admit, I have yet to make a snowman.
Went to the climbing room and scored a few blisters on me hands...wuss. Started to get the hang of it and decided I had enough and called it quits. Nuggets

SnowBoarding Trip

Well there you have it. What else are ya gunna do in the snow?? Might as well shred hard. This past Monday (M.L.K. Day) a few friends from school and I went to Perfect North in Indiana. $70- got you a board,pants,and a lift ticket for 7 or so hours. Half of the group has been before and knew what they were doing, the other three... first timers!! It was great. Everyone got the hang of it pretty quick and before we knew it, we were hitting some of the gnarest slopes.( Tuff Enough was one radical rip). My goal was to return in one piece, and am stoked I met the goal. Feb. 11th is college night, 9p-1a. Round Two anyone?? Yes please.

Went to midnight hockey last night. The university of Kentucky has a club team and shreds. Good stuff!!

Went on a walk about before sunset and have to say I'm enjoying the winter so far. Walking through fields with four inches of snow feels cool!! Think my favorite shot is the one of the tree.

The snow would stack up and the wind coming in from the side would form this snow wave. It somehow warmed me up for a split second. Oh how good does babes walking down the beach sound!!

Went on a little stroll today to dollar general and was able to find some things I needed. Shortly after the room was dialed in!!

For those of yall that have been lucky enough to go to "the casselberry trails" then you know this fella!! Known to most as Kato!! With his loving personality, who couldn't love him. There was news this morning of his passing & I know if there's sirens in doggy heaven, well... hill be a hollerin!! You will be missed.

Oldest SkatePark In America

As you may already know I stopped at Kona Skatepark on the beginning leg of TheRippinGypsy trip this past summer and camped there with RedBull Dave. Well ten of us got into our buddy Aarons van a.k.a. "TheUnit" and ripped on up to Kona this past weekend. Mother nature wasn't on our side but that didn't stop us. We got neckter down the infamous snake runs and feel fun was had by everyone. On our way back the unit broke down and we had to push her to a gas station. There we hung out for a few hours and luckily Aarons girlfriend was able to come pick us up!! Thanks to RedBull Dave for having us and letting us rip and also to the girls that went out of their way to help us dudes out:) Good Stuff
