Last week Bobby and I once again jumped on the trail and got away from the fast pace city liven for a few days. We had a smooth ride into Connelsville where these lean twos are bulit for cyclist. While unpacking our sleeping bags etc. a fella told us that the people who got these built where over there having a potluck and would be stoked to have us. Long story short they invited us in for homemade meals and had a great chat with them!! After a good nights rest we woke to a gray cold rainy morning. On the days agenda was Fallingwater, and we were not about to let this rain slow us down. After downing some hot coffee it was time to hit it. Within mintues we were soaked to the core but loving it!! Bobby and I must have looked crazy cycling in the cold rain laughing and having a blast. The 25 or so miles weren't that bad to ohiopyle. There we grabbed some food and directions to Fallingwater. The lady warned us about to 3 1/2 mile hill, but that was in one ear and out the other. Well she was correct, the hill was gnarly but so rewarding seeing the big engraved rock that read "Fallingwater". We made it!! We had small talk with the lady at the front desk, told her we stayed in the lean twos in what not and she was like... Oh did y'all go to the potluck hahaha. Her son was there and we couldn't beilieve it. To good!! After purchasing the ground tickets for $8, it was down to the infamous house. The property of the 1935 built house was breath taking. The weather fit it's surroundings that's for sure. After snapping some shots and what not it was back to the saddle and to the lean twos. All n all it was a great trip!!
